YOUR PERSONAL MUSIC ARCHIVE

Privacy, for the record.

Apple Music Watcher is operated by Greg Sabo. It stores the tracks returned by Apple Music when your connected account is scanned, along with titles, artists, albums, artwork links and scan dates. Scan dates record when a track was observed, not when you played it.

Your account and connection

WorkOS handles sign-in, your account details and session cookies. Your Apple Music authorization token is encrypted before storage in Cloudflare D1. The app uses it to check recently played tracks hourly. Disconnecting Apple Music removes the stored token and stops future scans; your collected history stays available.

Connecting ChatGPT

When you authorize an MCP client such as ChatGPT through WorkOS, that client can read and search your collected history and scan dates. Each account can access its own history. The MCP tools do not return your Apple authorization token. Manage or revoke a client’s access in its connection settings.

Service information

Cloudflare hosts this app and database and processes service logs. WorkOS and Cloudflare process information needed to operate and secure their services. The app currently has no visitor analytics beacon. Server logs are configured to omit URL query strings.

Keeping and removing history

Your archive is retained until you request its removal. To request removal of your Watcher account or history, contact Greg Sabo through the channel where you obtained access. Disconnecting or removing a ChatGPT connection does not delete the archive.
